Rouge My Knees

Looks like the fine folks over at JCrew were also inspired by or perhaps hired one of my very fave photog’s Craig McDean. McDean’s The New Ease spread in Vogue Italia October 2010 is one of my all time favorite and go to editorials for inspiration.  JCrew’s Sept catalog features a nice retro-furniture infused set.  Beige with pops of color and lots of leg.  A retro telephone even made it’s way in…The spread in Vogue Italia is a little more frantic…while JCrew maintains signature polish.

I just can’t stop looking at this photo of Leigh Lezark.  the color palette…her outfit…those kitty cat print slippers…the bedroom.  it’s totally inspiring me.

I’m also obsessing over big hair lately.  RIP Amy.  My bump it has come out of its hiding place. to. play.  I think I’m going to try for this…(which means I’ll need to purchase some hairspray)
